California Red sheep have wonderful personalities, they are graceful in there step. The ewes and rams are known for their gentle easy going temperaments and responsiveness to quiet handling. They are a medium size sheep.
Breeders: The ewes are very patient but possessive mothers that instinctively care for the needs of their young. As the ewes mature, and with successive lambing, twins (and occasionally multiples) are not uncommon, along with plenty of milk available to feed the lambs.
My rams are well behaved to humans even during breeding season.
