Walnut Processor is seeking assistance in our shipping and customer service department. Assignment will be needed for approximately mid-September through Thanksgiving or possibly through end of year.

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the sales and customer service department. Responsibilities will include shipping out trucks and providing administrative support in preparing appropriate documents for orders.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
•Completes weighmaster certificates and bills of lading for domestic and export shipments as a deputy weighmaster
•Responsible for preparation of labels as per customer request for the production team
•Assists in data entry of booking information into inventory/sales system and continually updates the system to ensure constant accuracy and information is complete
•Maintains organized and accessible files for each sales order containing all pertinent contract copies, shipping instructions and documentation
•Responsible for communicating with colleagues and vendors in a professional and prompt manner to deliver timely customer service
•Prepares accurate shipping and customs clearance documentation, such as phytosanitary certificates and certificates of origin, for finalization by Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator
•Ensures company is compliant with relevant regulations in regards to shipments and documentation for each relevant export country
•Adhere to all safety rules and programs
The schedule of 6am – 2pm Monday-Friday.
Preference will be given to those with shipping & logistics experience preferably in the ag industry.
