Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Child Advocates of Placer County! Our mission is to be the bridge between the most vulnerable in our community and volunteers who make a difference! You will have the opportunity to work with foster youth and at-risk youth/families by dedicating at least one hour of your time each week through our three volunteer-driven programs:
1. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
2. Placer Mentors
The FIRST STEP: Attend an in-person small group orientation!
Visit our website to see our scheduled dates for this month at: casaplacer.org/events/list
The SECOND STEP: Complete an Application!
You will find our application at: casaplacer.org/volunteer
The THIRD STEP: Attend Training!
Depending on your area of interest within our programs your training will be 30 hours of in-person class time combined with online homework.
Please respond to this ad if you have questions or would like to inquire about our upcoming orientation dates to get started! We look forward to meeting you! You can also visit our site: casaplacer.org to read more about what we do!
